Logbook
Your logbook is where you collect all the necessary evidence to prepare your internship report for the board of certification. Your logbook is custom built for your medical discipline, so it might differ significantly from that of other residents.
This doesn’t mean that the board of certification is only interested in your logbook. For the final say on what you must and must not present to the commission, consult the website of het Agentschap Zorg en Gezondheid in Flanders and la Direction de l'Agrément des Prestataires de Soins de Santé in Wallonia.
Each section in your logbook has a green button to add a new item. If you add a new technical action or procedure, all the information already available in Medbook will be filled out automatically. Another good reason to keep your internship plan up to date.
Medbook also has an iOS app (an Android version is in development). The app allows you to easily update your logbook while one the move or at work, even without an internet connection. As soon as the app connects to the internet, it will synchronise with your Medbook account.
